I like to make theatre about female relationships, myths, and the sea. To me, storytelling is about expressing the truth, but the truth doesn’t have to be an objective entity. I’m interested in how and why we tell stories, and how these tales are preserved and reconstructed. I like to push the boundaries of what we consider to be conventional theatre, especially musical theatre, and want to encourage audiences to ask questions and feel experiences rather than just consume the answers I give to them. Encapsulating all of these desires is my dedication to producing art that is inclusive, accessible, and affordable.
